I wish I was still there while writing this blog. I miss the beach. Going to the Beach is my happiness. This has been my escape from all the stress in the city. Almost 8 hours of travel from Manila to Candelaria Zambales (with Victory Liner bus including stop overs). It was really tiring BUT IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT! It's beautiful there. The island has no commercial establishments that's why we stayed at Dawal Beach Resort for accommodation (You can check their website at http://www.dawal.com.ph) They serve good food with such an affordable price!

Going to Potipot Island you need a boat ride (which cost 400php per person) It's just 5-10 minutes away from the resort but if you wish to stay at the island you can rent a Kubo or just bring your own tent. You just have to pay 300php for overnight and 100php for day tour plus you need to bring your own food or take out somewhere. There is also a place where you can grill if you want to cook your own food in the Island. The nearest market in Candelaria is 10-15 mins away from the Resort.
