When Traveling Off-Season
6/27/2014
I just realized the advantages of traveling during off peak season. First, it's less crowded. It
means you don't have to wait for hours for a table at your preferred
restaurant, you will not have a hard time to look for a good spot at the
beach. I realized, it makes a vacation more fun and relaxing. Second, expect to pay less -
most of the time! Who does not want that? Promo's and discounts are
everywhere. Hotel's & Inns drop their prices and they have plenty
vacancies. Lastly, you will surely enjoy the dazzling journey!
Faster transaction at the hotels, easier to walk around, and most of
the time you will feel that you are allowed to make the most
unreasonable demand.
But then, there are few things to consider when traveling during off season.
Check the weather forecast before the trip. Since
off-season is a "rainy season" checking the weather is a must. Before
you head out you must check if its too cold, too rainy, and if too hot.
But if your going to the beach "too hot" is perfect! Sometimes, when
it's to stormy better yet call the hotel that you will be checking inn
and ask for them to reschedule your trip.
Shorter Hours. Some restaurants and sights close earlier. So be sure to make the most out of you daylight hours. During night it can be boringly quiet but then you have to consider this. This is the time to relax at your hotel and rest.
If you want more peace and quiet, away from everything, away from the crowd. Travel during off-peak season.

Paradise in the middle of the sea.
